As much as I like this one, I do have to admit it's almost too much like the first one, just with far better FX. I know it's not totally the same, but hey, when you blow up one death star, you've blown up them all :)

ROTJ was an excellent film. It was very deep with it's characters.
At the start we meet Jabba, the giant sadistic drug lord. Jabba makes the Star Wars galaxy seem far less innocent. It reminds us that there is not just the goodies group and the baddy group. It reminds us that there are there are other groups.
It also brings out the heroes weaknesses. Lukes is his reluctancy to kill Vader, Han's is his love and arrogance. Leia's weakness is her beauty, which Jabba exploits. When Leia is enslaved by Jabba, the way Leia is kept and made a slave is very clever. The leash and bikini show how powerless Leia is at that stage, and Jabba helps reinforce this point when he controls her. We understand that the leash is Jabbas tool to control Leia, and helps us understand thats the only reason she serves him.
The fight scenes were poor, but it is showing an aging man in a heavy suit fighting a undisciplined jedi. The emotions seem real.
Very good film

One Of my all Time fav's of the Star Wars Saga. I dont really know why I like this film. I maybe Just like the story of this one, Once again worth it to check out.

This has always been my favorite of the original series. I love the space battles and the silly ewoks battling the Imperial forces. Loved it how Anakin Skywalker saves his son from the evil Emperer. Definately a can't miss movie.

this is my favorite for amny reason. my best part is when luke saves his father and takes his body back with him and they say there final goodbyes

The final battle for the freedom of the galaxy, is just PERFECT! This is where the real battle begins, and where the story ends. Its father vs son in the climax of the Galactic Civil War. 5 stars

  Unfortunately, the problems with Jedi cannot be fixed even with the best digital software in the galaxy: the weak story (another death star assault, another visit to Dagobah, the exotic planet of the trees, annoying teddy bears), the bad performances..., the burp jokes (three in the first half hour--I guess I missed the toilet humor in the first two) and Luke's bizarre-looking hair mop.
