A classic movie that every living human has seen or at least heard of. The effects are great and the action is cool. One of the greatest epics ever.

It's a good movie, and it also have some great effects even though it's made in 1977. Though there are a lot of things in this which really are kinda silly if you think about it, some things they say or do. As why would you have the button for the tractor beam in such a location, you have to risk your life every time you go out there. Also why can't they just blow up the pod which 3PO and R2 are inside the beginning, it's not like they have to save the lasers.

  If I were asked to say with certainty which movies will still be widely known a century or two from now, I would list "2001,'' "The Wizard of Oz,'' Keaton and Chaplin, Astaire and Rogers, and probably "Casablanca'' ... and "Star Wars,'' for sure.
