I loved this movie. It is a very nice movie to watch and I would really recommend it. It's all about adventures and a few laughs as well.

this is a great 80s film it is so much fun to watch I just love this movie and it is so timeless it has comedy scary at times action it has suspense and a treasure hut what a great movie

It really had alot of great action and adventure in this movie. This movie is worth watching. I give it, 5 stars. By the way I like the monster with a Superman Shirt.

I give this a 5/5 mainly because it was the movie that i watched all the way through my childhood!, The Goonies is one of those movies that you watched as a child and hoped that something like that would happen to you and your friends, as every child loved the thought of pirates, treasure and booby-trapped caves! sadly nothing like this happened to me as a child, but nevermind, i can aways just keep watching the movie, as i often do! =) Awesome movie that everyone should at least have watched once in their life-time!

Best Kids Movie of All Times!

I was pleasantly surprised once the movie started to pick up the action. The story is about kids who find a treasure map in the attic, and it seems real to them. Besides they need the money of else their homes will be torn down.

The adventure is brilliant and fun. You never know what is going to happen next, with all the 'booby' traps. Surprisingly the acting is also pretty good, but could be better. The visuals are pretty amazing, yet not spectacular.

I definitely would recommend this movie to anyone, the movie is fast paced, and really easy to enjoy.

The dialogue came across as clear as schoolyard chatter during recess -- and just about as pleasant to listen to.   I would not take very young children to see The Goonies - too intense. I would also discourage any adults who are borderline in their liking of children from seeing this film. The Goonies could easily turn a lot of otherwise tolerant grownups against children, and I'm assuming that would be a terrible thing. [7 Jun 1985, p.75]
