Buckaroo Banzai, adventurer, rock musician, doctor, and scientist, is the leader of the Hong Kong Cavaliers, an elite group of musician/adventurers. Banzai and the Cavaliers must face their greatest challenge when the evil Lord Whorfin breaks free of the asylum where he has been imprisoned in the body of Dr. Emilio Lizardo. Whorfin goes forth to muster his Lectroids and return to Planet 10 in the 8th Dimension, but needs Banzai's Overthruster to get there. Meanwhile, the Black Lectroids have arrived and threaten to wipe out Earth if Buckaroo doesn't save the day and keep Whorfin from escaping.
