In the process he finds new friends, and great actors. He follows his best actor home, and finds out he is really a woman who he falls in love with, while writing his new play, 'Romeo and Juliet', he finds that art is the one that immitates life, comparing his love for his Lady Viola to the pages of his play. But conflicts come when her father "sells" her to another man to marry, and when it is revealed that she is really a woman acting, which is 1593 was not allowed. But with the help of Queen Elizabeth and a runaway bride, the play becomes famous at the first showing, but William's happiness will not last long.
