Henry Brubaker is the new Warden of Wakefield Prison.He had been told about the deplorable conditions which exist at the Prison.To find out firsthand,Brubaker has himself brought in as a new prisoner.In the first 20 something minutes noboby is aware that he is the new Warden.Brubaker watches many of the atrosities take place from the moment he enters Wakefield Prison.Finally,when he witnesses one inmate choking another,he decided enough is enough,and marches to the present Wardens Office risking death and/or disciplinary action for this bold movement.
