This movie means a lot to me because the events portrayed effected me personally. I can remember the day I saw the bodies of our soldiers being dragged through Mogadishu in the paper. I recently enlisted in the Armed Services and it sent my blood boiling. The graphically reenactment of the events of those days are recreated in the movie in great detail. This is one of those great movies that makes you proud to be an American. It further shows how strong Americans need to be in the face of adversary. The odds those men faced were oppressive that day and got worse when the President decided they no longer needed to be there in Somalia.

This movie wrenches my gut every time I watch it. I loved the ensemble cast with Josh Hartnett, Ewan MacGregor, Tom Sizemore, Sam Sheppard...just a really terrific cast. It makes me angry to know that Bill Clinton just left our boys to practically...

This movie wrenches my gut every time I watch it. I loved the ensemble cast with Josh Hartnett, Ewan MacGregor, Tom Sizemore, Sam Sheppard...just a really terrific cast. It makes me angry to know that Bill Clinton just left our boys to practically rot over there and they were there on humanitarian reasons...he was such a coward...don't get me wrong I don't want a cowboy in the Oval Office but I don't want a pantywaist either.

Black Hawk Down is about The Battle of Mogadishu and the horrible situations our soldiers had to go through. It's one thing to see ancient battles take place in movies but to see something that we can actually understand and relate to makes it all...

Black Hawk Down is about The Battle of Mogadishu and the horrible situations our soldiers had to go through. It's one thing to see ancient battles take place in movies but to see something that we can actually understand and relate to makes it all the more impacting.

A very awesome movie. Ridley Scott os amazing! This movie was based on a real story. Does a good job at portraying our American GI's.
