I am probably one of the only people that actually detests this movie. It was way too boring. The story was kinda lame for a vampire movie. I gave this movie half of a star when in reality I wouldn't give it a star. My friend desperately wanted to watch it and maybe 10 minutes I started to get drowsy and I was perfectly awake before I had watched it. I managed to sit through the rest of it without falling asleep and wanting to change the channel.

But seriously it is dreadful. I really don't like it. I don't care if you agree or disagree with me.

It just wasn't enjoyable. Major thumbs down!!!!

I love vampire movies so, I loved this one true I can not stand and some time de-test Tom Cruise but this was a great movie with Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst were what put the movie over the top.

Being the huge Anne Rice fan I am, this movie did not let me down. Impossible not to be instantly captivated by the story, the atmosphere and the acting. If Tom Cruise ever played a character beautifully, that was Lestat...

Kirsten Dunst does an incredible job as does Antonio Banderas. This is my favorite movie and it will remain a true classic. If you haven't seen it you're missing out.

Interview With a Vampire is now a classic movie that you can't go wrong with watching. It has a great and compelling story line all leading up to the final moment.
The story is of a vampire telling his story of how he became a vampire and how he got to the modern day.(1994) Leading you through twist and turns to get you to that point.
A very good movie that may be scary but often very interesting. Something that you don't see often in todays modern horror films.

Favorite Classic! Brought a whole new light to vampire movies with drama, action and romance. over all great casting and well writen and played. While it may be more of a chick flick, this is one chick that has it on VHS and DVD, and still watchs!

This is the best vampire movie made, by far. Forging into the actual personalities and traits of the vampires, instead of just gazing at the blood-thirsty beasts I have watched prior. I saw the human side of Louie, played by Brad Pitt, who felt shame when he was forced to feed, and hid in the shadows, taking his nourishment from rats and sheep, rather than to sentence another to a life of the un-dead. Then there is the all-powerful, unapologizing LeStat. Taking Louie under his wing, he attempts to de-moralize him, but the only hate that Louie develops is aimed at his creator, LeStat. Watch the tale of these enemies unfold, in a beautifully written and acted presentation.
