This movie really showed a person with imagination. It was new and not one of those redone movies. I was entertained and that is hard to do. VERY GOOD MOVIE

This stands atop my list of favourite movies. Unlike the hundreds of blockbusters churned out every year, this is one which, once all the flashy effects and smooth one-liners have been taken away, actually has an in-depth and epic story-line. You don't only enjoy it, you have to think about it too. Watching with friends I've had to stop myself from saying "Oh yeah this bit is awesome" on so many occasions. There are loads of epic cinema moments all the way through that I could rant on forever about. It was mainly down to this film that I had the desire to become a screen-writer. If you want a huge, amazing looking and action-packed Sci-Fi movie, then look no further than The Matrix.

The storyline was also rather good if not a bit obscure but overall it is a great movie. This is a movie that no-one could say they hated or didn't like because the matter of the fact is this movie will appeal to anyone.

I Say it's easily not only the best sci-fi movie of all time, but the best movie of all time!
Here's what the story's about: Thomas Anderson, a computer wiz, and gifted hacker under the name "Neo",
discovers that the world is a lie. The world is actually a prison resealming our everyday day lives called "the matrix" (hence the movies's title. that's just the very start of the movie.
The music? let's just say that if the music in this movie were a person, it would go to heaven.
special effects? Awesome
Charaters: Great and well devolped. and that's coming from a person who plays WAY too much RPGs. Voice work? brillant, and suits each charater like a glove
see this movie if haven't, and you have WACTH IT AGAIN!! 5/5!
