Easily one of my favorite movies of all time. One of the best movie book adaptations too. Until the very end, it's practically word for word from the book...RIP Hunter, we miss you!

Some of the content probably went over people's heads, simply because if you were not a part of the counter culture you just won't get it. Not for everyone.

Don't do drugs...see this movie! Make you feel like your on a high the whole time. One of the funniest movies ever mainly because It's just silly and you can let loose. And every one gives a great performence. Must see.

Thompson I think this film definatly lives up to the spectacular reputation of the book. And Johnny Depp's performance is second to none. Definatly my favorite of his films as well. Benicio Del Toro's supporting role is fantastic. I also love all the cameo roles in the film. Definatly made it more exciting although I don't believe it's possible. Outstanding movie.
