I agree with what Lynxan says. It is a classic, no doubt about it. But it isn´t realy a fantastic movie overall. The directing is intresting and he provides with some realy nice angels and directing tricks. This allso leads to that the cinematagrophy is fantastic. Though te movie seems a little aged at times. It feels a lt like the 80´s and often reminds of The Terminator. As does the ating, Cristopher Lambert isn´t a very good actor, but he fits for this role, as Arnold did as The Terminator in James Cameron´s Sci-Fi Classic. Th choice of music isn´t allways the right either, I don´t think that Queen realy fitted into this kind of movie, and that´s of cource one o the reasons it feels a lot like the 80´s. Highlander is deffinatly an inspirtion for many of the movies we see today and it is a very good movie because of it´s intresting story, intresting directing and nice cinematagrophy. But after all Highlander doesn´t give you all that you want from it and neither did its sequels. But it´s a entertaining two hours that is deffinatly worth checking out.
