I personally loved this movie because of the outrageously, nonsensical jokes. Pootie Tang and his friends are identical to my friends and I, that gives us some unofficial syncronisity to the "ghetto hero". Pootie is like the combined essence of Shaft, Superfly, Dolemite, and Ol' Dirty Bastard, since his language makes no sense. He'll talk smooth to the ladies and beat down the bad guys at the same time! Sure, it may not be the best movie compared to what mainstream media might call a "good movie", but I think the ridiculous nature of the film will suffice for me. If they ever made a straight to DVD sequel, I would definitely buy it.

Who wouldn't want to watch a movie about a superhero who fights crime with a belt?
The random comedy is great, but I think you have to be in the right frame of mind to watch this movie. You can't take it seriously!
Hilarious stuff.
