A decent movie about a high school from the 80's. Nothing too special, but if you're looking for a movie to watch this one is decent.

The first iconic teen comedy, and also written by Cameron Crowe. It's a great comedy that launched the careers of most in it, and has both Sean Penn and Forest Whitaker in it who have both went on to win Oscars, so you know it's a talented cast....

The first iconic teen comedy, and also written by Cameron Crowe. It's a great comedy that launched the careers of most in it, and has both Sean Penn and Forest Whitaker in it who have both went on to win Oscars, so you know it's a talented cast. The classic character is Spicoli and everybody knows that character. Also everybody knows the classic Phoebe Cates scene as well that has been spoofed so many times. This is excellent comedy, and if you've never heard of this movie before, you must not be a fan of comedy then. 9/10.

Wow… if you hate promiscuous acts, then this is most likely not the movie for you. These were certainly ‘fast times’ at the California Ridgemont high school. An era of rock n’ roll, sex, drugs, drinking, rule breaking, and did I mention sex? Well sex was a big factor as fifteen-year-old Stacy Hamilton, played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, sleeps around to become more experienced like her friend Linda Barrett, played by Phoebe Cates. But the movie is not all about sex, cause there are also drugs. The most spaced out surfer bum by the name of Jeff Spicoli, played by Sean Penn, is probably the most interesting side character as he virtually does nothing except get high and party. The film features many notable songs such as "Fast Times (The Best Years Of Our Lifes)" by Billy Squier, "Somebody's Baby" by Jackson Browne, "Speeding" by The Go-Gos, and "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" by Sammy Hagar. The movie is a must see for anybody still stuck in the 80’s still wearing their converse and listening to Van Halen and Zeppelin.
