High school senior Brad likes to think of himself as the school's resident cool guy. But it soon becomes more and more evident that Brad, who takes his job at a greasy fast food joint way too seriously, is no more cool than his nerdy friend who he helps get a job at the same restaurant. Stacy, on the other hand, is Brad's younger sister who has just started high school with her older brother and with the help of her best friend Linda (the object of Brad's lust) she soon becomes more popular than her sibling but in a way that she never expected. There are various other characters thrown in the mix including a sleazy ticket scalper named Mike Damone and stoner/skater Jeff Spicoli who steals every scene he's in and has gone on to become one of the most beloved characters in film history.
