This movie (and Romero's Dead series) changed the way I looked at horror... it wasn't just slasher films... there is potential for depth... in this case, the pathos developed by the viewer for David who only wants to be normal, changed the way...

What to say about this film...it's strange, disturbing, and...well that's it. Jack, the mutilated best friend, shows up throughout the film in various stages of decomposition to convince his friend to kill himself. David is a werewolf who must die...

The majority of major horror flicks from this era were slasher-related, so this movie stood out when it was released. I saw this movie as a child and it is still one of my favourites.
