Note: This is about Sam Raimi's Director's Cut
You should see the straight-to-dvd Director's cut version. It has more violence and action. It is a great movie directors cut from Sam Raimi

In this follow-up to Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn we are reunited with Ash Williams who this time around gives us plenty of "Three Stooge"-style belly laughs. The acting was very good but there was a heavy lack of chemistry between Ash...

Not my favorite of the Evil Dead movies (Evil Dead 2 gets that credit), but the one where Ash pulls out all the stops and becomes the one-liner slinging, chainsaw-for-a-hand (though he replaces the chainsaw halfway for a weird mechanical hand),...

I thought this film was the best out of all 3. The comedy, horror, and action made this movie a nice edition to the evil dead franchise.
I also liked how they had sequels of this including "army of darkness vs. re-animator"...

this film was made in a time before cgi was so popular and for that resson the affects look awsome because pupets are just so mutch cooler.
it may not be gorey compared to other films but the comedy is still really funny.

Horror/Comedy at its best. This movie is a definite cult-classic.
It is over-dramatic, surreal, and witty. Ash (Bruce Campbell) is pretty much a non-stop one-liner machine. I could not stop laughing throughout the entire movie.

Fantastic horror comedy, part 3 to the evil dead movies, has a cool mix of horror and comedy lighter than the first two but just as good. this is a great film well worth watching and the two diffrent endings are great aswell.

Personally I think this movie is the best out of the evil dead triolgy. This film blends action & comedy quite nicely. the climax in my opinion was a bit disappointing but all in all this is the best of the series
