Of all the B-Horror films that I've seen, nothing comes close to this series. Evil Dead was well thought out for its age and even today, I'd rather watch this film than half the stuff out today.

This is a classic horror movie, i just love the evil dead films. i first saw this at a friends house and loved it, great horror. If you like a good horror movie this is one to watch

I found the first evil dead movie to be pretty good. The gore effects were pretty good for it's time & I liked ho they used silence in the film to build suspense. What made the scares good was where you think the zombie was in one location but...
