A tribute to the old black and white movies that takes its sweet little time to get to where it is going to go, but the end result has nice bits of humor in it. The acting is top notch especially as far as Gene Wilder is concerned, playing a scinentist who wants to do what his ancestor could not and that is to successfully bring a person back to life. The best part is, unlike the movie this movie is parodying, this movie has a happy ending for everyone involved. Mel Brooks showed his talent here and its hard to find the level of comedy in this movie in other Mel Brooks flicks, this is definitely one of the better ones. :idea: Enough said! ;)

This movie is hilarious! And with a great cast. Literally a laugh a minute. Whenever I hear the name 'Abby' it always reminds me of the scene where Igor tells Frankenstein who's brain he stole for the monster.

This film is Mel Brooks at his best!

Mel Brooks first realy funny movie is awsome, Young Frankenstein is a comedy masterpiece.
