This is one of the greatest sequels to anything I've ever, ever seen. In fact, some things are almost as good as things in the original, which is saying something considering it's a Direct-to-DVD film with presumably a far lower budget. It's ridiculously good for a sequel, and probably the closest a sequel has ever come to the brilliance of an original without actually being a better film altogether.

Following up a masterpiece like 'The Lion King' is not an easy thing to do, but this film did a fantastic job. All the original voice-actors are back (except for Rowin Atkinson as Zazoo) and even some new ones.

It's more humour-based than the original Lion King movie, and I personally think it's a bit funnier. It also has some absolutely excellent animation that for the most part is pretty much just as good as the original's. And, it's still a dark film in parts, so don't worry about that.

This is a really great movie because I'm a really huge fan of The Lion King. My favorite character is Kiara. I just wanted to say that this is a really great movie.

A great movie, which wasn't as good as the first, but still WAY better than the third. The plot felt a little too familiar, but it was still a very enjoyable film. 8/10

The Lion King 2 tells the story of Simba's daughter Kiara, where she begins to learn what its going to be like when she becomes queen some day, and the dangers that lurk outside of the pride lands.

These dangers include Scar's people lead by Zira who wants revenge on Simba for killing Scar, when it was the hyenas who really did it.

She trains Kovu to be a killing machine, feeling his heart with hatred for Simba, but what Zira doesn't know is that Kovu has a weakness and that weakness is Kiara.

Great movie, I'm glad Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa where in it, and of course Timon and Pumbaa where as crazy as ever, I also liked how Simba realized just how much he really is like his father.
