When the suave irresistible Joe and his hypochondriac partner Terry escape from prison, they decide to start a legitimate life south of the boarder. But first, they have to finance themselves by the only way they know how. After examining all the flaws of bank robbing, they devise that the perfect robbery is pulled off by kidnapping the bank owner the night before and rob the bank early the next day. But their perfect plan is complicated when they pick up Kate, an underappreciated house wife, who now is not only an extra factor to concider but soon becomes the love interest to both Terry and Joe.
