Good for kids and apparentaly for other people too but I hate it. Boring, childish, bad acting, and pretty weird. I'm not exactly a Speilberg fan except for like Indiana Jones so this was just not enjoyable for me.

This is my favorite movie from my childhood. A great coming of age movie that sees Elliott (Henry Thomas) befriend an alien E.T. This movie means so much because I was able to take my own kids to see it in the theatres when Steven Spielberg decided to release a 20th Anniversary edition with updated special effects that do nothing but enhance the movie.

This is Spielberg's best and most heartfelt. You can't watch this film and not change, it's impossible. Downside: you'll need a bucket to cry in. But it feels good! You have to own this movie.

I really can't agree with most, I think it's ok and has it's moments, but I never really could get into it like I could similar films like The Goonies and Gremlins.

A superb movie by the master Steven Spielberg. The acting is good, The stry is superb and the plot is fantastic and includs many classic scenes. Overall this is a masterpiece that can´t be forgotten by anyone.
