I'm more of a movie person more than a book person.I honestly liked this movie it was well done.Good acting,great storyline,and a great movie over all.

Francis Ford Coppola is one of the best directors that have ev lived. His movie "The Outsiders" based on the novel by S.E. Hinton is a touching movie. The acting is good from some of the actors, some though overact sometimes. The directing and cinematagrophy is fantastic. Some great scenes by Coppola. The Script though is pretty Arvrage with some unbelievable dialouge and it feels like the movie is a little short. Still The Outsiders is a realistic movie about the Young Adault gangs.

I didn't love this film like I though I would. I honestly prefer the book. However, the acting was very good, and it's fun to see all of these present-day stars in their rookie glory. Ralph Macchio is especially compelling as Johnny. The soundtrack was a little grating, as it would pop up in the most random places. I think it's main purpose was to remind people that the movie is set in the sixties. But I can see why it is considered a classic.

We never saw the whole thing because of it being the last day of school so we never had a final test on it. So anyway, I read the book in my 7th grade class also. The movie was pretty good. Two of the boys had names that parents would never name them so they wouldn't be ashamed, but other than that, 2 thumbs up.

I never got a chance to watch "The Outsiders" until fairly recently and I was quite surprised at how many great actors there were in the film. I thought the story was cool and the cinematography was sweet.

This moviev was inspirational for me as a teen. It taught that boys can be strong and weak. I read the book, too. This is a must have DVD, cause it's the complete novel (special edition) as a movie. Best Teen Drama in my book.
