After the townspeople of Transylvania evict him from his castle, Count Dracula flies to America in pursuit of the only woman he's ever loved -- model Cindy Sondheim. With his lackey Renfield, Dracula looks for his one, true love while adapting to his new enviornment, from having a family of poor people trying to eat him when he's in vampire bat form to feeding off of a drunk. Once he finds Cindy, Dracula has a date with her and sleeps with her, before biting her once on her neck. When Cindy's ex-boyfriend and therapist Dr. Jeffrey Rosenberg, who changed his last name from his original last name of Van Helsing, learns of Dracula's presence, he must try and stop Dracula from successfully turning her into his vampire bride.
