This is the start of one of the greatest high school comedies of all time. In this chapter you get to meet Jim Levenstein (Jason Biggs), Chris 'Oz' Ostreicher (Chris Klein), Kevin Myers (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Paul Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), and Steve Stifler (Seann William Scott). This group of guys, minus Stifler, decide to make a pact to lose their virginity on prom night. This movie has so many funny scenes that you'll be laughing for weeks. One of the best scenes has to be when Jim finally has his chance with Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) the very hot eastern European exchange student. Also, another great scene is when Stifler drinks the pale ale.

HahaHA!!! This movie is so funny! This is prob. the most funniest movie ever in the 90's. I just watched the seconed one, but there really funny.!

The BEST teen comedy ever. There are a LOT of imitations but it' s simply the best. When I watch it I know every word that every actor is goin go say!

This is probably the best Teen Comedy that came out in the late 90's where there was a slew out at the time. It's a funny movie, as if you already didn't know that. 8/10.

This was a great movie. There were so many comedies that came out around this but I'd definitely say this was the best. This is crude and witty. It was great.. The Blink-182 Cameo is priceless as well even if Travis Barker is miscredited.

Caught up in the flush on new teen comedies that started in the late 90s, this remains one of the better comedies of the 90s.

It pretty much equals it's hero film `Porky's' for humour, and even has a sentimental side to it...

As an 18 year old, there are basically two movie genres that stick out as favourites for me - horrors and teen comedies and this is by far the best teen comedy and the best of the original American Pie trilogy although the second and third installments are still hilarious in their own right.

Of course, the most memorable and hottest scene of the movie is my favourite, with Jim blowing his chance with Nadia over the internet.

The ending of the movie is also great with Jim being used by the band geek that has a few surprising experiences at band camp and Finch hooking up with Stifler's mum and also has a very real feel to it in that relationships don't always end in a good or bad way in Kevin's case.

Overall, this is my favourite of the American Pie trilogy but the next two are both entertaining.

One of the funniest movies ever made about teenagers looking for fun in their lives (by that I mean sex) is an instant classic movie that nobody can forget after watching it. It's a blockbuster and thank God for the sequels!

Very very funny! This describes the whole movie. It's not like those boring films about teens, it's a great comedy, I couldn't stop laughing :)
