Les Mayfield's Blue Streak doesn't deliver that much but just a lackluster story with a low budget production.

Martin Lawrence plays a professional jewel thief, Logan that has one purpose, steal $20 million worth of diamonds that he needs to hide it from the cops, but suddenly his partner betrayed him. As he got caught in the scene, sentenced to jail for 3 years. When he finally gets back to the site, he discovers that the site has become the Los Angeles police department. Logan(Martin Lawrence) must disguise himself as a Los Angeles cop as it is the only way to receive his loot. Maloan, his cop name with his new partner, Carlson (Luke Wilson) must chase down the bad guys from getting tons of crack to the drug dealers.

The acting in this movie is just terrible, even though humour is aside the movie is still garbage. The only good acting is between Martin Lawrence and Dave Chapelle which goes the extreme distance to make you fall out of your chair laughing.

Overall, Blue Streak has a lackluster story and has bad acting on a low budget production. People curious about watching this shouldn't. Try to avoid this horrible movie at all costs.
