After being abandoned by her mother, step-father and husband 14 year old Mandy (Juliette Lewis) ends up in the street where she meets Billy Canton (Brad Pitt) who keeps her high on drugs and booze, after a while she gets away from him and meets a single father who treats her well until he finds out her age, after he also leaves her Billy Canton finds her again and dopes her up again and together they kidnapp the single father and his new girlfriend and high on drugs and wanting revenge for the single father leaving her Mandy stabs him to death. The movie starts with her in prison facing a murder charge, and is shown in flash backs as to why she is there.
