A gumshoe by the name of Harry Angel was hired to find an aging blues singer. From New York to Lousiana he travelled in search of him. When he reached Lousiana he met a women named Epiphany Proudfoot. She is a daughter of a voodoo priestess. He believes that she holds some secrets that will unlock the case he is working on. As he gets further into the case many of the people from whom he got information from disappeared later to be found dead and Harry fears he will be next.
