Another twist on a Dracula movie, you say. Well, this is the cream of the crop, don't let the budget fool you. Vampires in present day, though not a new idea today, at the time that the movie was made it was pretty groundbreaking. Gone is the solitaire vampire clad in cape at the spooky castle (though I'm a sucker for that as well), on with the trailer -trash family in a winnibago looking for a finger-lickin' good meal. We've got some awesome performances from the actors, it's really what makes this movie so good. Bill Paxton's part must have inspired the character Cassidy in the "Preacher" illustrated novels, without a doubt. Bloodsucking just don't get old.
