Well made thriller with hide-your-face-in-a-pillow suspense and very scary birds. One of Hitchcock's finest.

As always, Hitchcock has created a thrilling suspense masterpiece. The small subtleties and the edge-of-your-seat, nail-biting suspenseful moments create one of Hitchcock's greatest classics.

This movie is more about silent horror than repulsive violence. The birds being so ominous is what made this movie shine. This is a somewhat slow-paced movie so the viewer must have a little patience. As a whole this movie is very eerie and...

Even though some had said this film was great, I didn't like it that much. It was not that scarier enough because the enemy was just birds.
