One of my all-time favorites. It has a great cast, good dialogue, and a great story. The story is even more incredible because it is true. It may get a bit dull at times, I highly recommend it anyway. 4 1/2 stars!

What a great movie that's based on a true story. It had a good storyline and I like the music and the special effect to this movie. There was alot of great quotes in the movie like ," Failure is not an opion." *Sorry bad spelling* Anyway I love this movie alot and I'm so thankful that the real Apollo 13 made it home. This movie also had a perfect cast in it. I give it 4 1/2 stars. This movie is 100% worth watching.

He said things like, "We've never lost an American in space and we're sure as hell not gonna lose one on my watch!" without sounding corny or overdone. His character, Gene Kranz, also said, "Failure is not an option!" In real life, Kranz didn't say that, but he thought it was a great line and he ended up using it as the title of a book he wrote about his time with NASA. That's a pretty high form of praise for Ed Harris.

Fantastic movie, I can't say anything new about it, and I won't try to. But, enough of the Tom Hanks brown nosing, yeah, he's great we all get that. But, where's the love for Ed Harris in this film?...His character is on the same page of importance as Tom Hanks' was. Ed Harris for me was the stand out actor in this movie. But, it's a modern classic, and it deserves all the praise it's gotten. 10/10.

Tom Hanks delivered yet another phenomenal performance in this story about the space shuttle, Apollo 13. Kevin Bacon also delivered a stellar performance.

Lot's of fans of this movie and Tom Hanks here! I can't say that it's a top favorite of mine, but it is a good film, and well done. And if it's on the telly, I'll definitely be there watching it while I am working on the computer.

Tom said in an interview that they really tried to be as accurate as possible, so the few minor slips here and there are those they just didn't care about or couldn't avoid in condensing months and years of work into a 2+ hour movie.

If you haven't seen it ever, or just haven't seen it in a while, we all know the end of the story...they make it back alive! So get your Net Flix going and rent it again! That popcorn is getting a little stale sitting in the cupboard!
