[Based on a script by Edward D. Wood Jr.] This movie (which takes place in 1974) tells the story -- entirely without dialogue -- about a mental patient (Billy Zane) who flees from a mental institution, in drag (he stole a nurse's uniform). He then robs a bank (and is only referred to as "Thief" in the captions). On the lam, Thief hides in an old cemetery, just as a bizarre funeral is taking place. He hides the loot ($15,000 cash) in the coffin. But then he falls unconscious; when he wakes up the next morning, the money gone.
