No special effects, no professionally trained actors, no stupid gimmicks, this movie is innocence and freedom in its purest form. A young boy longs for a real friend and finds it in the most unlikely of forms with an Orca. But when circumstances threaten the giant whales life, the young boy must take a risk and help the Orca get free to the ocean where he belongs. It's "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" for the 1990's, what E.T. did for aliens; Willy did for Orca's. The most incredible part has to be near the end. What an incredible sequence to have filmed plus Michael Jackson's "Say You'll Be There" make the movie the perfect masterpiece of the decade. This is definitely a movie the whole family should watch as I highly reccomend it. Enough said, true believers! ;)
