Funny but not super funny. Its ok but not the best adam sandler flick. Unless your a big fan then you could miss this sandler flick and not really care. Thats all im going to say. Its ok.

Great comedy that really is funny. Adam Sandler does a great job playing Bobby and the story is just halarious. It's just a great funny movie.

The first time I saw "The Waterboy," I didn't really like it because I thought it was just an average Adam Sandler movie. But, the more I have watched it, the more I fall in love with Sandler's loveable, goofball character and the more I love the moral of this story. "The Waterboy" is one of the few Sandler movies that you can say has a good storyline.

Love It!!! This movie was the bomb. ALl-Star cast. My favorite teams coach was in it. Bill Cowher. Adam Sandler once again hysterical. wish there was a sequal that was just as good. You should rent it if you haven't seen it yet.

Good movie!

I love Adam Sandler and I felt this is a movie from his prime! It was different than the others of this type. I loved the acting, the characters and the story. I am not usually a fan of football movies, but this one was excellent! I loved Mamma! Kathy Bates as Bobby's mamma was great! This movie was hilarious and had charm! I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good comedy. I give it a 5/5!

What I really enjoyed about The Waterboy was that the movie has two things that I like: a really good comedy and some good football games all wrapped up in an hour and a half movie.

When the movie starts out, you almost have to feel sorry for Bobby for being made fun of by the players and scared into not standing up for himself by Coach Beaulieu. That same feeling can also be used when Bobby calls up Captain Insano after being fired and is then made fun of by his favorite wrestler.

However, it is through Bobby's interaction with the people in these situations that ultimately help him grow into a stronger, funnier character at SCLSU when he becomes the Mud Dogs new waterboy. What I though was priceless about his new job was how the people he met there were like the players at the college he worked at before being fired and then were forced to change their minds when he sacked the quarterback after being insulted.

Another thing that stuck out in my mind that made the Waterboy really funny was Coach Kline. Before the movie, I always saw Henry Winkler as the cool, suave Arthur Fonzarelli from Happy Days; it was a nice change to see him in such a comical role. Farmer Fran was also another funny character that I liked in the movie, mainly because of the way he was so hard to understand.

In the end, if you like a good comedy, I would highly recommend watching the Waterboy. Adam Sandler was great as Bobby Boucher, just like Henry Winkler was as Coach Kline.
