"A flawed but visually delightful and supremely scary horror classic."

This is a very unusual film. It's unusual in that it's incredibly scary and disturbing, well-made, filmed, and acted - rife with excellent acting and special effects, and while the plot starts off initially promising it gets very disappointing about half way through. This film also has one of the worst endings I've ever seen in a horror film.

The Creeds have just moved to a new house in the countryside. Their house is perfect, except for two things: the semi-trailers that roar past on the narrow road, and the mysterious cemetery in the woods behind the house. The Creed's neighbours are reluctant to talk about the cemetery, and for good reason too.

While some of the plot twists were extremely disappointing and almost ruined the movie in some ways, 'Pet Sematary' is still a very hard-working horror thriller that's certainly worth watching.
