Halloween was a masterpiece and one of the best horror movies ever made, mostly thanks to the wonderful directing from Carpenter. In Halloween 2 Carpenter isn´t directing, and it shows. The story isn´t bad, after the endng of the first, evertbody pretty mutch expected a sequel, so it continues rigt where the first ended. Rosenthal is no Carpenter for sure, but he doesn´t do bad, some of the scenes are very good. The script though isn´t well written, they realy tried to remake what they´d allready done in the first (take Loomis speach for example). Acting from Jamie Lee Curtis is realy hard to say because she barely says anything in the movie. Halloween 2 isn´t a very good movie, but it´s not bad either, it´s a watchable and entertaining horror movie. The problem is... they should have stopped making more after this one because it had a good ending.

Very underrated sequel. Same theme as the original, except it takes place in a hospital. The plot is that Laurie Strode is in the hospital, recovering from the terrible events that took place shortly before. Michael Myers is alive and well, killing off many of the staff, trying to get to Laurie.
I like how they did the same cat and mouse approach, but I think that they shouldn't of had Laurie as Michael's brother because it was no longer really as mysterious. But.....as it turns around, the building suspense makes up for it. This was a great sequel to the first, and a pretty good movie on it's own. It does manage to beat all of the sequels after it, including H20. Buy this film and add it to your Halloween collection, it's truly wonderful.

An awesome sequel to the original. I love the way this movie just picks up right where the original ended. Sure it may focus more on gore to keep up with the overly gory horror movies at the time but I still think it did a great job continuing the feel of the original while still feeling different enough to warrant it's existence. I love the twist in this movie that Michael is Lauries sister, it gives him a purpose and not just a mindless killer like Jason. Overall just a great sequel.
