Somewhat of a disappointing action film considering whom the director is.

The storyline is really nothing new, and not too much is surprising. John Woo does offer some great shots of the desert though.

Somewhat of a disappointing action film considering whom the director is.

The storyline is really nothing new, and not too much is surprising. John Woo does offer some great shots of the desert though.

All of the bad guys (John Travolta, Bob Gunton, and Howie Long) are all great, but Christian Slater and Samantha Mathis are just plain boring together on screen, it's tedious watching the two together.

The action scenes are far and few between, they aren't really all that exciting, and offer nothing original.

The score of the film is also really bizarre. The score comes out of something that should be on a John Carpenter movie or even Twin Peaks, but not in a high octane action film.

There are far better action films to check, and even by the same director. 7/10.

This movie was made up almost completely of action. Just one thing after another!

If you're looking for a great action flick with a lot of explosions, a lot of shooting, and a lot of hand-to-hand combat, then add this to your list!
