This movie is a masterpiece. Be prepared to pay attention and read subtle nuances in the characters. This film does not hand you the answers on a silver platter. Reminiscent of the old film noir crime films. You end up hating characters you liked...

Flawless! I loved it. Fantastic performances by Russell Crowe and Kevin Spacey. For those of you looking for an excellent film, full of twists and on top of it all entertaining... well, you have to watch it.

"L.A. Confidential" was the best movie of the year and with such an amazing script and amazing cast, nothing could have gone wrong. I especially loved the back drop of this movie-the 1950s and three cops with different methods.
