I hate movies like this. I hate love stories. I hate tragedies. I especially hate this movie even more because it's a great combination of the two. There's just so much tragedy and I hate it for that. When you see something like this, you realize why people call it heartbreaking. It's because it actually feels like your heart is being ripped apart in two. I almost went into Bradycardia. I stopped it a couple of times or muted the volume just to let it sink in (pun not intended). It has been a little over 15 minutes since this movie finished playing and I'm still taking deep breaths and just trying to divert my mind to something else. It plays on such an epic scale that I dread the prospect of seeing in a cinema hall... and they're converting it to 3D. I guess it will be re-released sometime. I think I will see it some day and maybe die watching it but I'll die a happy man. Anyway, story-wise there is nothing special, just a love story between two people from very different social classes on a sinking ship. It's the grandeur of it all that sweeps you away. James Horner's score is decidedly weak (using the same basic melody again and again) but when the music turns up at strategic places in the movie, it's so powerful too. In the acting department, everybody brought their A game. Of course, the lovely Kate Winslet adds even more beauty to it and a little flash of her assets isn't unwelcome either lol. No that the movie doesn't have it's faults but I won't go into that now. This is one movie I secretly love but I'll never, ever, never admit it to anyone irl.

BEST MOVIE EVER!!! I actually beleieved that Jack and Rose were meant to be. That is how good the actors were. It is so beautiful and romantic & i even cried (it is hard to make me cry) It is a ridiculously long movie but it's worth it!
