Look this movie is awsome. I loved shawshank and I love this. I think anyone thats a fan of the book or anyone will like it. Theres awsome acting, awsome story and everything you can think of. Good movie thats worth your time.

This movie shows that Hollywood is still making classics to this day. The actors involved in this movie show how much love they have for their art. Michael Clarke Duncan should have won the academy award for best actor he was just so perfect. Tom Hanks continues showing how great he is in every scene in this movie. Barry Pepper even in his small role as the youngest jailor shined through. The story above all else was just so moving even an old tough guy like me shed a tear or two

A must-see, must-have film. It's a gem. I've never seen any film about prison as heart-touching as Green Mile. 5 stars are simply not enough for Green Mile.

Another great adaptation by Frank Darabont. I read the book and this movie does it justice. I can't imagine a better cast. A can't miss movie.

In this beautifully shot movie, Hanks plays a prison guard who has to walk convicted murderer, "John Coffey," down the green mile to his death. What happens is....well, you'll just have to see it. People might think that this is another prison film. Well, it is not. It has the Shawshank Redemption feeling but it has the paranormal touch to it so that makes it a whole different movie. Despite the 3 hour plus running time, it is fast paced and never dull, the story and characters get your interest so much that you don’t feel the time.
It is rare when a movie forces the viewer to suspend disbelief; The Green Mile is one of these movies. It is about some unbelievable events, yet the acting is very believable. This all-star cast of veteran actors puts together one of the most notable, moving, and realistic performances.

This movie is just a movie that everyone should watch. There were a lot of things in here that were just great. You have to really sit down and watch this movie in silence. And it was an excellent movie, it manages to be touching without being over-sentimental. Tom Hanks is brilliant in his role, and, as usual, manages to bring warmth to the character he plays. What could be a sad, depressing movie has its moments, but at the same time lifts up the viewer to a sense of hope and justice. It is guaranteed to make you laugh, cry and scream.

The movie is long, though and that might be off putting to some, however, the time flies and you'll want to watch it again. Read the book too!
