Let me start off by saying, ANTZ is not really anything like Disney and Pixar, its' in really, an entirely different league in all on it's own. Wheras Pixar's very own bug adveture: A Bug's Life, has a more colourful, outlandish design, and a more lighter tone, and more lighthearted story matter. Antz really does the exact opposite. Antz really looks at war, death, being decieved by the leader of the pack, and about listening to more than one's ideas or concepts. Antz replaces all of these things with bugs, to really to create a surrealist tone and image. Woody Allen, you are still the God of comedy and character voice acting, and Antz sheerly highlights the best in Allen as well.

Both are equily good, just in difrent ways. If I had to judge this to another film, I'd say it's alot like Shark Tail more.

A good film that warmed up the studio that would refine themself for Ice Age later.

Original and creative. I liked this movie, and have watched it many times now. There are some scenes with some foul language that could have been left out, and I would have given it a higher rating. Overall, it is enjoyable, even for adults.

I like this movie but I still much preffer A Bugs Life. It's not a bad movie, it's just that I have seen so much better but this is still great.

I did not enjoy this movie very much. For some reason I did not find it funny, really, for some reason I prefer A Bug's Life, I don't hate this movie, but I did not think it was that good...
