My favorite song is "Hakuna Matata" sung by Simba, Timon, and Puumba. The story is filled with drama, anger, conflict, and sorrow. I hope this movie remains the best Disney movie for all eternity!

It's a well told tale of love lost, deceit, sadness, joy and laughter.

Why I like it? I think this is the first story that made me cry. I was like four or five when I first saw it. Simba was the most adorable thing in the world, I got a Simba plushie afterwards. The story is remarkable. It confuzzled me how deep the Lion King goes in an animated film. Unlike other cartoon movies that just go for cheap laughs and quick money. This may be the last great quality film using traditional animation. I'm a fan of Pixar, but 2-D animation can still capture a great movie.

this is my favortie disney movie yet. the movie has great animation for being drawn and written in 1994, the songs are also great. not many other movies back then even comes close to lion king in my point of view. my favorite song is "i can't wait to be king". also in the song i love the way zazu gets picked on by the monkeys, simba, nala, and gets sat on by the rhino. my favorite scene is the fight scene between simba and scar, the slo-motion really made the fight cool. it could have lasted longer though. i feel like i am more of the adult simba, lazy at first then realizes with some help, that responsibility is a big part in our lives.

As someone who grew up with Disney classics, I believe The Lion King may be the last truly great film produced by their animation department (I'm not including their CGI films). The story is typically Disney. After a tribulation, the hero finds himself facing the villain and overcoming adversity. Despite the cliche story, the characters are lovable, the music is memorable, and the animation is 2-D at it's finest.

This is my most favorite movie ever! I have lots of favorites but this is one of my favs. Jonothan Taylor Thomas is so cute in this! I feel young simba and adult nala suit my personality! :D

Like many others, The Lion King is my favourite movie EVER. It has a fantastic story behind it, great animation once again from Disney, perfect voice-acting which brings the character's personalities to their full potential, an excellent soundtrack and it successfully reaches an audience of all ages by portraying all the emotions and situations that we face in our life.

All these elements come together to make The Lion King one of the greatest movies of all time and a classic whether you are a fan of the movie or not. If you haven't seen this movie, you've been living in a cave!
