I haven't seen a lot of Hitchcock's stuff, but this is a great, suspenseful movie. It is the epitome of suspense.

Maybe the best Hitchcock story ever. The movie is about a photographer who has been in an accident and has to spend time in a wheelchair, and can´t leave his house. His main acctivity is to watch his naighboors, but one day oone of the neighbors wifes suddenly disapears, and the husband does mysterious things. The man in the wheelchair thinks that this man killed his wife. The love story put on the side is pretty lame, it is over too quick. Hitchcock is a master of supense, and it´s shown in this movie. Fantastic script and plot. Rear Window is with no doubt one of my favorite Hitchcock movies.

Easily my favourite film of all time.

James Stewart is charming in his role of L.B. Jefferies, a wheel-chair bound photographer killing time by spying on his neighbours. Grace Kelly and Thelma Ritter are superb and the entire supporting cast is perfect too, each giving completely individual performances as the neighbours.

The story is exciting, despite being set entirely in one small apartment.

Definately check this one out, it's Hitchcock's best.
