An unbelievably good movie which has Bette Midler in what could possibly be her best acting role ever! And I've never seen any movies that have Barbara Hershey in them before, but I must say that she's a very good actress to! This film has good music, good cinematography, and a well-paced script that draws us in to the world of these two female girls over the course of about 30 years from 1958-1988. The highs, the lows, the break-ups, the make-ups, and everything in between. This film is definitely a masterpiece for the 1980's, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a movie that is really touching, poignant, and likable for all the right reasons. :idea: Enough said! ;)
