A very underrated picture. Great story, great acting and great musical score by Bill Conti. Stallone plays his role well as usual and Sutherland is the bad guy everyone likes to hate. Even though these guys are in prison you feel for them....

A very underrated picture. Great story, great acting and great musical score by Bill Conti. Stallone plays his role well as usual and Sutherland is the bad guy everyone likes to hate. Even though these guys are in prison you feel for them. Interesting fact, all the prisoners in this movie are actual prisoners, it was shot on location in a New Jersey jail.

  The film is a sort of prison fantasy, in which all the most popular boys in the cellblock have a high time together, smoking cigarettes, working on cars and spraying each other with paint guns...All the while you're thinking, "What is this, ancient Greece?"
