We spend most of our time in a mall and in this place filled with all kinds of stores with all kinds of goodies of our choice and people upon the hundreds a lot can happen.

Kevin Smith is another of my favorate directors and this is one of the movies from him I really like. It's true it's no masterpiece nor do I feel it's his best work but it's a good film and it's pritty darn funny all the same.

This film is more physical comidy based, there is a good dose of some verbal humor though also. Both are executed well and are actually memorable. There are some dirty jokes which is common in most of Smith's films but their suttle and suggestive and done in good taste (well sort of). And I just simply love the fact this all takes place in a mall, malls for some reason have always been one of my favorate arenas of activity in films (most notably "Dawn of the Dead") there is just a lot of room for possability and anything happening and it does in this film.

Liked the into song and graphic credits images that were put up at the begining of the film which really set the tone of the film because in a way the film behaves a bit like a live action comic book.

I really liked the characters, my favorate is Brody played well by Jason Lee(My Name is Earl) this character is just great, because I can easily relate to the character. Mainly because this guy has most to all of the same interests I have. He's into video games, movies, and comic books let alone a huge collection of them to start a comic store of his own; it's likewise for me though the huge collection I have is in movies I kid you not.
I really love his wisecracks and some of the things he says. And he does have heart after all he is trying to win his girl back and help his friend.

Jay and Silent Bob are well their usual selves up to mischief.

This film has plenty of memorable scenes and moments, I won't give too much away.

One of my favorates that cracks me up is in Ethan Sufee's (My Name is Earl) character who is always staring at those 3-D vision pictures as is highly determined to see the hidden sailboat but he never does. This is a joke that is a plot device for latter.

There is also that stink palm joke which grosses me out but at the same time I can't help but cracks up about it, though put me off of cholclete covered prezels for a long while. Though my favorate scene is in the "Love Connection" rip off game show, it was just funny how Broady was just retorting to one of the contestents responses and interesting how he was able to help his best friend.

Well there isn't much left to say, just like going to a regular mall, Mallrats is worth a trip.

Probably the least popular of Kevin Smith's films...at least if the Box Office & critics have anything to say...But it's also one of the only ones to have nudity! Hooray! "FLY FATASS, FLY!"

pretty good Jay and silent bob are in it and it has some pretty good parts in it but basically its just a bunch of guys hangin out in a mall but this movie really gets past that
