I am a huge fan of Christian Bale. I was skeptical to see this movie for the reason that he would portray a narcissistic, egotistical business man. However, the movie was actually a great thriller. Although it's hard picturing Bale as a sociopath for the need to be the best of the best, it was absolutely well done. Being that Hollywood always takes a book, puts a random twist on it, then totally ruins it for the avid readers, I was particularly surprised to find that the movie out shined the book.

It's a wonderful movie for those who enjoy corruption, realistic thrills, and twisted comedy.

Didnt get the movie in the end, and was hoping some kind of explanation would come from up above, but I'm glad it didn't. This movie really gets you thinking. Twisted and wonderful.

Bizarre little tribute to the 80s. Loved every second of it. Christian Bale played it perfect - slicked back stockbroker who loves Hewey Lewis and the News - and is a complete psychopath - completely original in how its done.

I watched this film the other day and was surprised to how good it was. What really overwhelmed me was how much sexuality there is in this film but man did christian bale give off such a good role as patrick bateman. He really did steal the show...

I watched this film the other day and was surprised to how good it was. What really overwhelmed me was how much sexuality there is in this film but man did christian bale give off such a good role as patrick bateman. He really did steal the show with his performance as the wierd guy he played as.

It was really wierd watching to how he killed his victims and yet lived a normal life as a rich guy in the 1980's. If you like sick and yet twisted films then do the favor and see this but if you don't then it is advised to stay away.

It's an excellent film, I can't say anything new about this that hasn't been said before. 10/10.
