Roger Moores last preformance as Bond is not his best. And so the acting isn´t verry good exept from Walken who saves this movie from not falling apart. The story sounded pretty intresting but many scenes in the movie...

The story sounded pretty intresting but many scenes in the movie didn´t seem to follow it. Thge plot is decent... it´s not mutch new, the same Bond movie once again. The main theme by Duran Duran start well but isn´t that good after a while. Overall it is an entertaining Bond movie , but there is so many of them that are so mutch better, but allso some which is so mutch worse.

I don't know what it is about this movie, the way I have so many mixed emotions about this film. I used to love it and declared it my favorite Moore film, but watching it again recently, it almost bored me. Compared to the others, it doesn't really offer much until the end of the movie over the bridge. That definitely sticks out in my mind as the best scene. This movie also proves that Bond will sleep with anyone if he is willing to sleep with the unattractive Grace Jones. Great song by Duran Duran, but that is about the best thing this movie has.

How the hell old is Sir Rog' in this one? Christopher Walken saves the film from it's rather boring "Bond at the races" premise. It starts to pick up down the mine-shaft though, and on the Golden Gate bridge.

Alrite, let's just get this out of the way; the last fight scene in the movie takes place on top of the golden gate bridge. James Bond and Christopher Walken (who looks sort-of cartoony with an axe) face off to the death, while a huge blimp is tied to the top of the gates. But if you have the box for this movie you probably guessed that anyway from the cover.

That said, I did enjoy this movie. It's not as good as when I saw it as a kid, but I still liked it. Some parts are a little cheeseball (Stacey: Look what I'm sitting on. (camera pans to Stacey's bottom)) (Jenny: My name is Jenny Flex.), but it's all good.

Tanya Roberts = Total Milf.

The plot is a bit difficult to follow sometimes. The first third of the movie involves James Bond uncovering Christopher Walken's evil plot to fix horse races (... trust me, it's really evil. ... Fixed horse races.) Then the next third of the movie involves trying to figure out exactly what the real evil plot is; flooding something to cause an earthquake, or something... It involves computer microchips. The last third of the movie is just firetruck chases, blimps and explosions, which is fine by me. Screw the plot, just give us a few more reasons to hate Christopher Walken's character. ... I think his name is 'Zardo' or something.

But I swear, Walken's second-hand woman Mayday: She 'as gotta be a man. Grace Jones has more muscles than Roger Moore, which makes me feel uncomfortable thinking about their sex scene. (Poor Bond was violated by a female bodybuilder!)

Also, be prepared to get Duran Duran's 'A View to a Kill' theme drilled into your head. This movie contains at least 3 variations (regular, floutist, and extra-intense), and these melodies spring up at climatic moments in the movie. .. I personally like the song, but I swear I'll be happy if I never hear the girly flute mix again.

Maybe it's just because I'm too young to remember the eighties, but did everybody dress that way? Those haircuts? At one point I swore Walken was a blonde chick. .. It just seems that most of the girls were wearing guy clothes, and most of the guys had girl hair.

A bit of a complaint though; they introduce two female characters (an oriental lady and a pretty caucasian lady), but these two characters add almost nothing to the movie. They each have a joke introduction, and then they're both totally ignored until they're killed near the end of the film. What's the point in that?

Walkin does a great job as the bad guy of the movie and once again Roger Moore does a good job as bond again a great Bond movie with a a basic Bond story

Nothing new. Walken is brilliant as ever and the plot is one very remote to any of the other Bond films; Moonraker was the Spy who loved me in space!!!!
The theme tune is also catchy but a lack of real car chase is a bummer

Another great movie in the Bond saga. Great acting by Moore and Walken. A must see for any Bond fan. The storyline of Zorin trying to flood silicon valley so it will become unusable for tech companies is great.
