Regular MovieTome users have probably already noticed that the site now has a new, spruced-up, pretty-as-can-be home page. We wanted to make sure our best and most relevant content was getting proper recognition, and so we hope our new categories for featured videos, stories, and image galleries prove useful. Note that we've also created a News page showcasing the latest news and feature stories from the MovieTome team. This is updated multiple times each day, so check back often for new stories! We'll keep you up to date on the latest movie news and post announcements on new trailers, important images, and other updates as well. Enjoy!
The MovieTome staff offers full film-related coverage of this massive annual extravaganza, straight from sunny San Diego. Check out our Comic-Con news hub for movie news, panel reviews, photos, Iron Man 2 and Avatar updates, Tron artwork, the meeting of the minds between James Cameron and Peter Jackson, pics of your favorite New Moon star, and other amazing stuff. And don't forget our Best of Comic-Con 2009 feature, our What's Your Day Job? video, and interviews we shot with the likes of Scarlett Johannson and director Terry Gilliam!
We're heading to San Diego this week for the amazing and overwhelming experience that is Comic-Con. Not only will we be covering panels, shooting tons of photos, Twittering, and scouring the aisles for the best costumed superheroes (you know who you are), but we also have a truckload of interviews lined up with many of the filmmakers and stars who'll be there in person. And with that in mind, we need your help!
Do you have any burning questions you feel we should ask the stars, directors, and other artists we get in front of the camera? Pass them along!
To do so in an organized fashion, we've set up pages on the forums for each of the major films we're scheduled to cover. To pass along your questions, simply navigate to the appropriate forum page (linked below) and drop in your question. We can't promise to use every single one--but we'll do our best to get the choicest comments out there. Thanks in advance for your participation!

Does the holiday season start before Thanksgiving, as of Thanksgiving, or after Thanksgiving?
Here at MovieTome, the Thanksgiving holiday, at least, starts right about now, which means we'll be out of the office until Monday, December 1.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Have a safe long weekend everybody!
Friday is the Fourth of July, and and the MovieTome staff will be celebrating with plenty of fireworks and barbecues. Since fire codes prevent us from setting off fireworks or barbecuing inside the building, we won't be in the office. Business will be back to usual on Monday!
Have a safe long weekend everybody!
There will be a brief period of site maintenance Wednesday (7/2) morning at 7 am PDT, which may result in you seeing more of the above than usual. All other parts of the site will be functioning normally, but potentially missing a few images. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Also, the site will be undergoing some maintenance in the wee hours of Tuesday morning (May 27), from 1-3 am PDT. During this time, all users will be treated as logged out, which means no blogging, forum posting, etc., but you should still be able to see access and read all areas of the site. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Don't worry, we've still got our own In Focus blog, where Kayvan continues to blog about the latest and greatest (and not-so-great... Kayvan has high standards sometimes), in the world of celluloid (literal and metaphorical). But hopefully you'll come to know and love both blogs, as your go-to resource for entertainment world news, a kind of dynamic duo: "Scene on TV... In Focus" I mean, who wants to watch TV (or anything else for that matter), not in focus, right? Right?
All right, bad joke. In any case, go check it out!
And if you're still a little red-carpet envious, check out our photo gallery from the big night.
Happy Holidays everyone!
You've probably noticed the weirdness with the PMs on the site lately; we've got a team of engineers looking into the problem now, but unfortunately this means we've got to take the PM system down for a while. This affects all PMs across CNE sites (GameSpot, TV.com, MovieTome and MP3.com); sorry, and thanks for your patience!
Personally, I'll be staying away from that Horror hub, and peacefully enjoy checking out the newest features of Comedy without fear of a half-dead zombie or serial killer picture scaring the bejeezus out of me. If only the rest of life could be so carefree...
